Our program for October 1 will be presented by Jay Philbrick, a “not your parents’ wedding photographer” from New Hampshire. As usual, we will start at 7 pm at the BCA Space in the rear of the Old Town Hall, 16 South Road. Come a bit early to find a parking place and sign in. We welcome guests and hope that you will decide to join our Group. Information about the Group will be available by the sign in sheet.
Here’s some information about Jay:
To paraphrase how his style was described in a recent magazine article “This is not your parents’ wedding photography”. Jay Philbrick is half of the team of Philbrick Photography. Together with his wife, Vicki, they engage in many forms of people photography while operating out of their hometown of North Conway, NH.
Specializing in wedding and portrait photography, Jay goes to great lengths to create unique and lasting images for his clients. Being an ex Air Force pilot and climbing guide, Jay’s adventurous nature shows in his imagery. His distinct style is well documented in his images of brides, couples, dancers, and others. He often incorporates unusual and sometimes difficult to access locations with precise posing to create dramatic portraits and imagery.
His unique style has caught the eye of New Hampshire area magazine and newspaper editors, advertising agencies, and event venues. His work is published on a regular basis in area publications and web sites.
