Maybe it’s because February is such a short month, or maybe it’s just my advancing age, but suddenly March is upon us! That’s very good news because we have a great program in store and there will be news about a very interesting program for April.
First things, first: Marv Goldschmitt will make a presentation on how he’s been using the Book Module in Lightroom 4 (you won’t find it in earlier versions) to create a professionally printed photo book with a company called Blurb. For those of you who are new, Marv was one of the founders of our Group and he chaired our meetings and made several presentations (see link for an example) until last Spring when, because he needed to step back to get his work done, Bill Davison graciously stepped in.
Also, as I hope you all know, Tuesday night’s meeting is also our next Photo Challenge. The topic is “Monochrome” and the deadline for submitting your images February 27. Directions for submitting images have been provided by Bob Bicknell, who coordinates the Photo Challenge along with Mark Levinson.
There’s a lot to cover, so as usual we’ll try to start on time at 7 p.m. Hope to see you all there!
