January 2013 Photo Challenge

Dear BCA Members–

Here’s wishing you save, peaceful, and joyous holidays.  As you know, we’re pushing our January meeting back to Tuesday, the 8th, 7-9 pm, at the usual BCA space in Old Town Hall, 18 South Road.

For your convenience, here’s a copy of the instructions for the Photo Challenge:  Remember, images should be submitted by January 3.

As announced at the December meeting, we will be having a PhotoChallenge at our January 8, 2013 meeting.
The subject of the Photo Challenge will be “Holidays”

Generally this should relate in some way to the seasonal winter holidays (Thanksgiving through New Years and all in between). The content and interpretation will be up to you.

I’ve attached a write up on the Photo Challenge and how to label and submit entries.  Details on resizing images can be found at the BCA Photography Yahoo page in the file labeled Resizing_photo_for_BCA_Jurying 3.pdf. (You must be a member of the BCA Yahoo Groups to access this page.  If you are a member of the BCA Photo Group and would like to join, please contact rwbass5@comcast.net, identify yourself and request an invitation to join the BCA Yahoo Group.

Each member may submit up to three (3) images. Please submit by January 3rd at the latest

It is our intention to review all of the submitted images – but – if time gets short we may not be able to.
So, PLEASE, when submitting your images label your images in order of importance where “lastname_firstname_1of3” is the image you really want to discuss etc.
We will display all of the 1s first , then the 2s and then the 3s.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Hope to see you all in January
